Review
Brickshooter Jr is a puzzle game developed by Terminal Studios. It uses the original Brickshooter formula, but this game has a few twists that even Brickshooter: Egypt doesn't have. Although this game is intended for younger audiences, adult fans of the Brickshooter games will enjoy this thoroughly. The Brickshooter formula consists on having a few bricks in a game area, and many random bricks surrounding that area. You shoot the outside bricks, making them stick with the ones in the game area. If you match 3 or more, then they disappear. However, Brickshooter Jr has you matching bricks with colors and faces. The faces are really not that relevant, but they add a cute touch to the game. The game is as challenging as before, but you have a new element: you can rotate the game board to change strategies. This allows a whole new depth into the game formula and it is a very welcome feature. Brickshooter Junior is really an excellent game, and it is better in some ways than the other two of the series. A good choice for young and adult puzzle fans. |
